Delete your AppSCoT account

This page explains how to delete your account and personal data from the AppSCoT mobile application, operated by ASCoT Club since 1992 ASBL ("the Club").

Option 1 — Delete from inside the App (fastest)

1. Open the AppSCoT mobile app and sign in.
2. Go to **Profile** (bottom-right tab).
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap **Delete account**.
4. Confirm by following the email link we send within 24 hours.

Your account and all personal data are erased within 7 days of confirming the link.

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot access the App, email **appscot92@ascot1992.club** from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line **"Account deletion request"**.

We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 calendar days, in line with our obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Art. 17).

What we delete

When your account is deleted we remove:

- Your name, salutation, date of birth, profile photo, email address and phone number
- Your residence (city, country) and citizenship information
- Your tennis level, current team and previous-team history
- Your push-notification token and device-trust records
- Your authentication account (Firebase Auth)
- Application history (your original membership application and any communications related to it)

 What we keep, and for how long

To comply with Luxembourg accounting and association law, the Club retains the following in an **anonymised** form (no longer linked to you):

- Tournament scores, match results and historical leaderboard data — retained indefinitely as part of Club history, with your name replaced by an anonymous identifier
- Financial and audit records — retained for 10 years from the date of the relevant accounting entry, as required by Luxembourg accounting law
- Backup snapshots — rolled off automatically within 35 days of deletion

We do not retain any other personal data about you after deletion.
